Pickup truck plunges into Lake Monroe Driver was attempting to launch personal watercraft
A pickup truck ends up in the St. Johns River.
SANFORD, Fla. – A pickup truck plunged into Lake Monroe in Sanford as a driver was attempting to launch his personal watercraft, the Seminole County Sheriff's Office said.
No one was inside the truck when it went into the lake Tuesday near U.S. Highway 17-92 and I-4.
Officials said the driver forgot to put the truck into park and it slid into the water.
No injuries were reported.
