ORLANDO, Fla. – The heat is on for Mother's Day after one day of some rainy and stormy weather. In addition to the heat Sunday, there are also some showers around.

"With summer only 38 days away, it sure is beginning to feel like it outside," News 6's Danny Treanor said.

Keep an eye out for showers, but once the sun goes down, temperatures will drop to 69 degrees in Orlando, 68 degrees in Palm Bay and 64 degrees in Ocala.

There will be a lot of sun and little rain Monday. Temperatures will bounce back to 89 degrees in Melbourne and Orlando, while Daytona Beach will hit 86 degrees.

"Most of next week will remain dry, with the next mention of rain occurring on Friday and Saturday, but that's only at 20 percent," Treanor said.
