ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida has a nice Saturday ahead of it.
The coast will stay a little cooler and only reach the low to mid 70s. It will be warmer inland -- into the low 80s.
Orlando will reach a high of 82 degrees with a slight chance of rain.
"Most of the rain will stay on the coast and will be quick-moving pop-up showers, so nothing to ruin any beach plans you may have," News 6 meteorologist Madeline Evans said.
Saturday will begin partly cloudy, and have periods of mostly sunny skies, and periods of heavier cloud cover.
Seminole County is under a high fire risk, so residents should refrain from burning anything. There is no considerable rain in the forecast for at least the next week, meaning the high fire risk will continue.
"If you are headed to the beach, the high will be 75 degrees at Daytona, with the water temperature hovering around 66 degrees," Evans said.
The winds will be picking up from the east southeast at 10-15 mph, causing a high rip current risk.
Saturday night will reach a low of 62 degrees under a partly cloudy sky.
Sunday is more of the same. Central Florida will reach a high of 83 degrees, with another slight chance of some coastal showers.
