ORLANDO, Fla. – Central Florida is looking at a pretty dry weekend.
"The only bad thing with less rain is that we have nothing to help cool us off," News 6 meteorologist Madeline Evans said.
Temperatures will feel like as though they are triple digits by 2 p.m. Saturday because of humidity.
Orlando will reach a high of 93 degrees with a 20 percent coverage of rain.
By 1 p.m., the east coast sea breeze will fire up with scattered showers mainly on the coast. By 4 p.m., the storms will move inland, and an isolated thunderstorm will be possible. By 9 p.m., the rain will push off to the west.
"It's a great day for the beach, but there is a moderate to high rip current risk on the water," Evans said. "Daytona will make it to a high of 90 with the water temperature 2-3 feet."
It will be dry and partly cloudy with a low of 75 degrees Saturday night.
Temperatures will return to the mid- 90s Sunday and rain chances will be at 20 percent.
