Rainy, cool, breezy day set for Central Florida

Orlando to warm up, dry out by weekend

ORLANDO, Fla. – It was a rainy, cooler start to the day in Central Florida, but more pleasant weather is right around the corner.

"The front that brought rain to Central Florida on Thursday morning will push to the south by the afternoon," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

Rain will taper off through the day, and the high temperature will only reach the low 60s in Orlando.

"It will be dry on Friday, with a high of 72," Bridges said.

The weekend will see highs near 80 degrees, and the next chance of rain in Central Florida is next week.
