ORLANDO, Fla. – Some areas are starting to see rain as storms that began on the west side of the state move east at 10-15 mph.
The heat of the day will help to create additional showers. By early evening, showers will be appearing along the east coast and beaches.

The heat is the control factor for Saturday. Temps in the 90s will feel like 101 to 106. Expect more of the same for Sunday.
The biggest difference between Saturday and Sunday will be the chance of rain will drop from 40 percent Saturday to 20 percent on Sunday. Rule of thumb: Less Rain...More Heat, lasting longer into the evening.
Going into the work week, Monday has a lower rain chance, but the remainder of the week looks normal between 30-40 percent. Temps range from 93-95 degrees.
In the tropics, Tropical Storm Fiona remains out to sea and is forecast to stay there. However, 99L is forecast to continue moving west, growing in size and moving through the Caribbean late next week. And behind it is another storm that will probably be the next area of interest.
