Warm temperatures, rain forecast for Central Florida

Comfortable week of temperatures on tap in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. – A weak front will move into Central Florida late Monday, bringing comfortable conditions to the region.

The high temperature will reach the mid-80s in Orlando on Monday, and there's a 40 percent chance of rain.  The average high temperature is 79 degrees.

"Rain will also be a factor for the drive to work on Tuesday morning as the front moves through," Local 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said.

Temperatures will warm into upper 70s for Tuesday and Wednesday, with rain chances at 30 percent Tuesday and 20 percent Wednesday.

Temperatures warm into the low 80s on Thursday and Friday.

Highs over the weekend are forecast to be in the mid- to upper 70s in Orlando.

Meanwhile, a new wave in the Atlantic has a 60 percent chance of development over the next two days.  The wave is expected to weaken after that.

The Atlantic hurricane season runs through the end of November.
