Weeklong forecast calls for highs near 80, no rain

Election Day looks nice in Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. – A nice week of weather is expected in Central Florida.

"High pressure continues to dominate the forecast," News 6 meteorologist Troy Bridges said. "With dry air in place, rain chances will be out of the forecast for most of the week."

Expect a high temperature of 80 degrees on Monday and Tuesday, with highs in the upper 70s through the upcoming weekend.

The average high in Orlando and many surrounding areas on this date is 80 degrees.

"There is nothing to track in the tropics," said Bridges, noting that the official end of hurricane season is Nov. 30.
