Consumer group calls for recall of 2017 Chrysler minivans

Complaints say engines can suddenly stall

NEW YORK – An auto safety group is asking the federal government to recall about 150,000 Chrysler Pacifica minivans because of complaints over an engine issue.

The Center for Auto Safety said dozens of drivers have claimed the 2017 model's engines can stall without warning.

Fiat-Chrysler said it's working to find a solution to the problem, and promises to notify owners when that happens.
