October 21, 2016 – With a district title on the line, the Winter Park Wildcats rallied to defeat Boone 28-19.
Trailing 19-13 in the third quarter, Winter Park's Notre Dame commit Jordan Pouncey scored the go-ahead touchdown on a short run.
The victory secures the Class 8A District 7 championship for the Wildcats.
Winter Park, 6 & 2 on the season, faces Spruce Creek next.
