HBO's 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' returns for season 9 on Oct. 1

Larry David to return with Jeff Garlin for 10-episode season

ORLANDO, Fla. – "It's pretty, pretty, pretty, good."

HBO announced Monday that the Emmy award winning comedy series "Curb Your Enthusiasm" starring Larry David, will return for its ninth season on Oct. 1.

The show will return Jeff Garlin, Susie Essman, JB Smoove and many others to its cast for the 10-episode season that will air 10 p.m. ET. 

Larry David created the show and executive produces the show with Jeff Garlin and Jeff Schaffer.

The Oct. 1 episode will be its first since the season eight finale back in Sept. 2011. During the time that the show has been off the air, David has appeared in many roles, including a role as Senator Bernie Sanders during the latest season of "Saturday Night Live."

David, a co-creator of "Seinfeld," also made an appearance in the Broadway show, "Fish in The Dark," and helped write the movie, "Clear History."
