ORLANDO, Fla. – On the heels of a controversial "Time" magazine cover featuring a woman breastfeeding her toddler son, a photo of two military moms feeding their children has created a new firestorm among some people.
The photo is part of a breastfeeding awareness campaign by Mom2Mom of Fairchild Air Force Base, a support group launched in January by Crystal Scott, a military spouse and mother of three. Among the pictures is one that shows two women in uniform feeding their children.
Some view the picture as a sign of disrespect to what the uniform represents.
