An emotional reunion between a mother and son who hadn't seen each other in 10 years may win the award for Most Heartwarming Moment of 2016.
Due to visa problems and financial issues, it had been an entire decade since Jeffrey, a carpenter living in Massachusetts, had seen his mother, Madeline, who lives in Gabon.

But when Jeffrey's younger brother, who lives in South Florida, arranged to have their mother fly in to the U.S.
Shannon Slattery, Jeffrey's partner and mother of their young son, worked with his brother to set up the surprise of a lifetime.
In the video, Jeffrey is shocked to see his brother, but the 6' 7" man broke down crying and collapsed when his mother came out from the next room.
Mother and son embraced with Jeffrey still in tears on the ground.
Slattery posted the reunion on Facebook where it has been viewed almost 6 million times.
"I love my man and his huge heart," Slattery wrote. "Love my new family too."
