This week, U.S. News & World Report has released its list of the top “babymoon” destinations in the country.
As the term might imply, a babymoon vacation is one where expectant parents can go to relax and prepare for the big day, whether that be a resort, spa, or other easygoing location.

According to the study, the safest times to travel are typically during the second trimester, when morning sickness has largely subsided and mobility may not yet pose as much of a challenge.
“Of course, it’s a good idea to discuss other risk factors with your health provider or midwife when deciding on your destination — and consider getting a travel insurance plan for protection in the event of pregnancy complications or other travel problems," the report reads.

In all, the list includes 23 destinations from across the U.S., such as Ocean Edge Resort in Cape Cod and Ambiente Sedona in Arizona.
However, three different spots from the Sunshine State managed to find their way into the ranking. They are as follows:
Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa — Destin
"This resort is located along the stunning Gulf Coast of Florida, which is known for its white sand beaches and crystal-clear waters. Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa is ideal for a beach-themed babymoon retreat for couples who love the sand and surf and want access to a luxurious spa and activities throughout the day.
Couples can book a Premium Beachfront room to enjoy incredible ocean views and a good night’s sleep in the king-sized Hilton Serenity Bed. You can spend your days relaxing on the beach or at one of the resort’s two outdoor pools, or take part in water sports like kayaking or snorkeling. The property’s Serenity by the sea Spa offers several treatments geared to expectant mothers, including a 50-minute “Mommy-to-Be Massage” that helps ease tension and calm the body and mind."
