Kirstin O'Connor's Sweet Potato Casserole

ORLANDO – This sweet potato casserole recipe is a tradition in Kirstin O'Connor's family Thanksgiving spread. She says it's one of her mom's favorites.

To start mash the above ingredients:

• 3 cups cooked sweet potato
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1/3 stick butter
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1/2 cup milk
• 2 eggs

Then top with:

• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1/2 cup self-rising flour
• 1/3 cup butter
• 1 cup chopped nuts

Bake uncovered for 30-45 minutes.
