Ocala police on Monday were informed of the fight, which possibly occurred Dec. 30 around 2:20 a.m. at the Race Trac gas station at 3535 West State Road 40.
Police said a three-minute video of the fight was posted on YouTube ( WARNING: Graphic ) and other websites, but no one called 911 to report the fracas.
At least eight women, believed to be 20 to 30 years old, were primarily involved in the melee, which began after a heated argument, police said. The women appeared to be in two groups, one consisting of five and the other having three, police said.
The video shows the women hitting each other with open and closed fists. As the fight continues, the video shows several other fights taking place in the parking lot. Some bystanders are seen on the video watching the melee, while others tried to break up some of the fights.
The man who posted the video said he and his friends were driving by the gas station when they saw the fight and one his friends recorded it on his cell phone.
"Girls gone wild. I have seen Girls Gone Wild on TV, but it's nothing like real life, seeing girls go wild. Got me an eye full," the man said.
The man said he does not feel badly about not stopping the fight and he does not know the women involved.
Several of the women's breasts and buttocks were exposed during the brawl.
At the end of the video, the group of five women is seen dancing and yelling in an apparent celebration, and one of the women is shown dancing on the hood of a car.
Ocala police said there are several leads as investigators try to identify the women.
