A fire was reported about 1 a.m. at Palmer Feed Store, 912 W. Church St., and although no one was injured in the blaze, baby chicks inside the store were killed, Orlando police said. It's not known how many chicks were inside the feed store.

Police said the fire appears to have started in an office area in the middle of the building. The cause of the fire is not known.

Police said pesticides and fertilizers exploded during the fire.
