COCOA, Fla. – A Cocoa man and former NASA security guard was arrested this week as he arrived in Citrus County for what he thought would be a sexual encounter with a 14-year-old girl, authorities said.
Instead of the teen, 31-year-old Christopher Albritton was met by agents with the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, with whom police said he unwittingly had been communicating with for weeks.

Albritton was charged with use of a computer to solicit sex from a minor and traveling to solicit sex from a minor. He was taken to Citrus County Jail Wednesday on $30,000 bond and remained incarcerated as of late Thursday afternoon, Local 6 News partner Florida Today reported.
According to the arrest report, Albritton answered an online ad posted by sheriff's agents on March 14 that read "Mom +1 Looking for family fun." He responded by saying he was disease-free, open-minded and very interested in having sex with the woman and her 14-year-old daughter.
He sent several graphic text messages about what he was planning to do to the young girl, then on Sunday he texted the undercover agent asking to meet for sex.
At one point, Albritton believed he was texting directly to the 14-year-old girl, according to the arrest report.
When Albritton arrived at the undercover location and walked up to the house, he was arrested, the report said.
According to the Citrus County Sheriff's Office, Albritton is in the Navy Reserve and was scheduled for deployment next week.
Telephone calls to a listed number for Albritton and his family were not returned.
