Officers Arrest Man Who Police Say Shot His Wife

CHICAGO – Chicago police have arrested a man who was wanted for attempted murder in Osceola County on Tuesday morning.

Officers found Zeyad Abusiryeh, 49, early Thursday morning. Police said that they found Abusiryeh in a vehicle they were searching for near on of his relative?s homes in Chicago. He will be extradited to Osceola County to face attempted murder chargers, police say.

Deputies said they believe that Abusiryeh shot his wife on Tuesday morning at their home in Osceola County.

After deputies arrived at the home on Hawk Drive in Kissimmee, the 36-year-old woman was airlifted to Orlando Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, police say. She is currently in stable condition.
