Florida QB Brantley Injures Ankle

No Timetable Set For Brantley's Return

ORLANDO, Fla. – University of Florida quarterback John Brantley suffered a sprained ankle toward the end of Saturday's game against Alabama, a source close to the team told Local 6 Sports Director David Pingalore.

After getting hurt during the second half of Saturday's game, Brantley did not return, and many feared broken fibula or a knee injury.

According to Pingalore's source, there is no timetable for Brantley's return to the field.

The Gators travel to Baton Rouge, La. to play Louisiana State next Saturday.
