Parents forget child at Chuck E. Cheese

Parents saw daughter's picture on the evening news

ABC News reports Harmony, 3, was accidentally left at Chuck E. Cheese in Maryland.

A 3-year-old was left at Chuck E. Cheese by her parents, who didn't realize she was missing until hours later when they saw her picture on a news broadcast, ABC News reports.

The Maryland parents assumed the girl, named Harmony, had gone home with other relatives, according to ABC News.

A restaurant manager told deputies that the girl had been left alone after she told a staff member she was thirsty. Deputies could not find her parents and asked local news outlets to put Harmony's picture on the evening news.

Multiple phone calls came in after the picture aired, including calls from the girl's parents. When deputies determined that the parents didn't mean to leave Harmony behind, Child Protective Services released her to her mother.

No charges are expected to be filed.
