BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – Before even hosting its first event, a rumored swingers club in Merritt Island has been evicted for not paying rent.
Local 6 news partner Florida Today reports that officials with the proposed Minglers Social Club didn't pay their rent this month, according to the landlord of the Riverside Bank building off State Road 520.

Building owner Ralph Perrone served an eviction notice on March 5, and the tenant turned in the keys Wednesday.
"They ran out of money. They pulled a building permit and they did some construction inside the building. They even bought a limo before they had the doors open," Perrone told Florida Today.
Thursday afternoon, the Merritt Island Redevelopment Agency was scheduled to discuss the alleged swingers club.
Perrone said he is now engaged in lease negotiations with a Christian school.
"We're going to fix the building up and make it much more appealing to a wider range of tenants," Perrone said.
