NEW YORK – Online dating websites are great at helping strangers meet that special someone. So good, in fact, that a new site is now doing the same exact thing for dogs.
It's called MatchPuppy.com. You can use the free site to find pets in your area to play with your dog.

The site matches up pets through their neighborhood, breed and age.
The creator of MatchPuppy.com says it's an easy way for your dog to interact with others.
"Dogs are a great icebreaker," says Michael Chiang. "And using a website like ours, you find new relationships, new friends, so definitely the human aspect of it is very strong."
Right now, the site is only available to pet owners in New York.
But Chiang says that he plans to expand to other cities very soon.
