DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – A lot of you have been waiting for the new Joe's Crab Shack restaurant to open at the Daytona Beach Pier.
Local 6 is learning, you'll have to wait a little longer.

Workers are putting the finishing touches on the restaurant.
But according to the Daytona Beach News-Journal, the company is pushing back the opening date.
Joe's Crab Shack was supposed to be ready by the end of May.
But not, it won't open until about a week later, in early June.
The company says construction started in December, and is taking longer than expected.
Joe's Crab Shack has 123 restaurants nationwide, but this will be the chain's first one over the ocean.
