Maldonado sentenced to life in prison on murder conviction Jose Masionet-Maldonado killed girlfriend, two others No description found
ORLANDO, Fla. – The man convicted in March of murdering his girlfriend in 2010 was sentenced on Monday to life in prison.
Jose Masionet-Maldonado was found guilty of three counts of first degree murder and two counts of vehicular homicide after he killed his girlfriend, then causing a deadly crash as he tried to get away from deputies. Two other women were killed in the crash.
Maldonado stabbed his girlfriend, then called her mother and confessed before leading deputies on a fatal high speed chase.
Maldonado was sentenced to 120 consecutive years total for the five other counts.
