Car crashes into Winter Park pub

WINTER PARK, Fla. – A woman was cited for careless driving early Wednesday after she crashed her car into a Winter Park pub.

No one was injured in the crash, which occurred around 3 a.m. at Fiddler's Green on Fairbanks Avenue.

According to Winter Park police, employees were inside the restaurant when the car slammed into the front entrance, knocking out a column.

A witness told Local 6 News that the driver was on her cellphone and misjudged a curve before sideswiping the building.

Police said it did not appear that alcohol was involved in the crash.
