MIAMI – The Miami Dolphins cheerleaders are the latest group to lip-sync the pop hit "Call Me Maybe," which may be the song of summer 2012.

The video, which has been posted on YouTube, shows the cheerleaders "singing" pool-side, beach-side and underwater.  Two of the cheerleaders, Amy Madill and Nikki Boston, attended West Orange High School in Winter Garden.

For whatever reason, it's become trendy for groups to lip-sync "Call Me Maybe" and post the recording online, with the Harvard baseball team and Miss USA contestants also having fun with the catchy tune.  Even a video featuring President Barack Obama has been posted on YouTube.

Carly Rae Jepsen, a 26-year-old Canadian, recorded the song, which has marched up to No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, just as Gotye's six-week reign on top with "Somebody That I Used To Know" seems to be winding down.

Jepsen got her first big break by placing third on "Canadian Idol" in 2007.
