Florida pastor hangs Obama in effigy at church

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – A Gainesville pastor known for creating controversies is now turning to the presidential election, hanging President Barack Obama in effigy.

The Smoking Gun website posted an image of the president's likeness, which is displayed in front of Pastor Terry Jones' Dove World Outreach Center.

The display contains a dummy wearing an Obama mask hanging from a noose while holding a baby doll, with an American flag and a rainbow-striped flag nearby.

A sign posted in the church's lawn says, "Obama is Killing America."

Jones caused a stir in September 2010 when he threatened to burn Korans, the holy book of Islam, on the anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
