MIAMI, Fla. – Authorities say a pregnant woman and her unborn child were killed in a drive-by shooting in South Florida.
Police in Miami Gardens say 29-year-old Angelese Ladson and a friend were sitting on a porch shortly after midnight Tuesday, when a car pulled up and fired shots at the home.

Ladson, who was nine months pregnant, was shot in the neck.
She and her child died at a Miami hospital.
Ladson's friend was hit in the leg, but was expected to recover.
The Miami Herald reports that authorities were still looking for the shooters.
