TITUSVILLE, Fla. – Titusville police on Tuesday are searching for a man accused of shooting and killing a 50-year-old man.

Police said Cedric Jermaine Wiley, 33, is suspected in the shooting death of Todd Eldridge Thomas.

According to Titusville police, officers were called to a shooting around 1:20 a.m. in the 1000 block of 4th Avenue.

Police said Thomas was found lying on the ground outside a home and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Titusville police said there's an active felony arrest for Wiley on charges including first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Wiley has an extensive felony arrest record and should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.
