Deputies arrest Daytona Beach taxi driver robber Dale Quatto charged with armed robbery, kidnapping

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Volusia County deputies have arrested the man who they say robbed a cab driver in Daytona Beach Monday morning.
Dale Quatto, 32, was arrested Tuesday and charged with armed robbery and kidnapping after deputies say he held up the cab driver outside of the Last Call bar in Daytona Beach, threatened to kill him and demanded his money.
Quatto had used tape to secure the victim to the cab's steering wheel. When he was finished, he said "This should slow you down. I can't go back to jail." Quatto had been released from Florida State Prison in June.
Quatto is being held on $100,000 bond at Volusia County jail.
