GE Profile washer recalled because they can break

ORLANDO, Fla. – A washer you may have in your home is being recalled because it can suddenly break down and hurt you.

We're talking about the GE Profile Front-Loading Washer.

62,000 of them are being recalled after there were 19 reports of the inside basket breaking during the spin cycle.

The government is worried that if the washer breaks, the parts could come apart and hurt you.

The washers were sold between 2008 and 2011 at Best Buy, Lowe's, Sears, and Home Depot.
