George Zimmerman's attorney still seeking sanctions against prosecutor Mark O'Mara believes office intentionally withheld evidence from defense
SANFORD, Fla. – Attorney Mark O'Mara told a crowd of people he is still seeking sanctions against prosecutor Bernie de la Rionda, who was the lead prosecutor in George Zimmerman's murder trial.
O'Mara said he believes the office intentionally withheld evidence from the defense leading up to the trial.
The evidence includes a color photo that shows a bloody and bruised George Zimmerman after the shooting.
O'Mara said it took months for him to get it.
The prosecutor's office has said they did not intentionally keep anything from the defense.
O'Mara said he will now go back and review the entire trial looking for any other possible infractions.
A hearing date has not been set.
