Trash can fire evacuates Holly Hill Elementary School
No one injured
HOLLY HILL, Fla. – A Volusia County elementary school was evacuated Wednesday morning because of a small fire, officials said.
The fire started around 10 a.m. in a library trash can at Holly Hill Elementary.
The school was evacuated, but students were allowed back in class about 30 minutes later, Holly Hill fire officials said.
No one was injured.
The state fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
