Hasbro invites public to choose new Scrabble word
Players can leave suggestions on company's Facebook page
No description foundORLANDO, Fla. – Hasbro is allowing players to do something it hasn't done in almost a decade -- choose a new word for Scrabble.
The company is asking the public to leave ideas for a new word on its Facebook page.
Some of the early suggestions left on Facebook include:
Selfie
Twerk
Photobomb
Ribeye
Emoji
Craycray
Bling
Nowish
Crowdfunding
Players can suggest words until March 28. Hasbro will create a list of 16 finalists and ask players to vote for a winner starting on April 2.
The winning word will be revealed on April 10.
