ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando police continue to search for a couple who stole all the cigarettes from a Walgreens.
The theft happened around 4:10 a.m. Thursday at the Walgreens at 5501 South Kirkman Road.
According to Orlando police, a man and woman entered the store, walked behind a counter and began placing cartons of cigarettes inside a backpack.
An employee said he approached the couple when the man said, "I don't have time for it, I have a gun."
Police said the worker then ran to get his manager and call 911.
The exact amount of cigarettes stolen was not immediately known, but it's at least $281, including a package of pre-cut watermelon taken by the woman, police said.
The couple was last seen getting into a gold-colored or tan minivan.
The man was wearing a black shirt, black jeans and white shoes, and the woman was wearing a brown dress, but a detailed description of the couple was not released.
