Skimmer found on ATM at Casselberry bank Police say suspect caught on surveillance installing device
CASSELBERRY, Fla. – Casselberry police on Wednesday released a surveillance photo of a man they say attached a skimmer to an ATM.
The ATM is located at the Sun Trust bank at 205 State Road 436 in Fern Park.
Police believe the incident occurred on May 30 between 7:47 p.m. and 9:07 p.m.
Last month, Altamonte Springs police released photos of men installing skimmers to another Sun Trust bank ATM near the parking lot of the Altamonte Mall.
Some of the photos show the men holding the device, which is attached to the machines in order to steal personal information when people insert their credit cards.
Investigators have not said, however, whether the incidents are connected.
