New evidence released in 'ninja robbery' case Trio arrested in mansion home invasions across Florida
WINDERMERE, Fla. – Local 6 obtained new evidence and videos in the case of the group of suspected ninja robbers that police say broke into mansions across the state, including ones in Central Florida.
Police arrested the men they say are responsible for the home invasions-- Frank Bowers, Johnathan Contreras and Andrew Perez. The trio is suspected in a string of similar crimes in Collier County.
Among the evidence released was video of the Windermere home invasion, in which the three men dressed in all black with masks over their faces walked homeowner Bill Kitchen into the office of his home.
Kitchen has his hands tied behind his back with twist ties and his partner, Camillo Espinel, has a pillowcase over his head and is seated on the floor.
