Police search apartment complex after 2 attempted sexual battery attacks reported

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – Kissimmee police are searching for a teen as young as 14 years old who attacked two women at an apartment complex Monday afternoon.

Police said the attempted sexual battery attacks were reported at the Reef Club Apartments.

Police said the teen, believed to be between 14 and 16 years old, tried to attack a woman inside of her apartment in the area of 1900 Island Circle at around 3 p.m., then ran off but stayed at the apartment complex.

Another woman saw the teen at around 4:30 p.m. and asked if he would help her move some furniture into the apartment. According to police, the teen moved the furniture and locked them both inside, trying to attack her.

The woman unlocked the apartment and ran outside for help, police said.

The search for the teen is ongoing. Police released a composite sketch of the teen, who was described as a black or Hispanic male between 14 and 16 years old, 5 feet 4 inches tall to 5 feet 5 inches tall with a medium build and short dark hair and brown eyes.
