The Loews Sapphire Falls Resort at Universal Orlando is described on its website as a "colorful and casual Caribbean Hideaway."

The hotel will offer 1,000 guest rooms and suites built around a tropical river and a waterfall, along with a white sand beach, water slide and cabana rentals.

Universal officials said the new hotel will bring the number of on-site hotel rooms at Universal Orlando to 5,200.

"We are excited to continue our growth plans at Loews Hotels by building another hotel with our long-standing partners at Universal Orlando," Jonathan Tisch, chairman of Loews Hotels & Resorts, said in a release. "Loews Sapphire Falls Resort will be every bit as distinctive as the other four on-site hotels and will offer a new option to families looking for a truly special Orlando vacation."

According to the Loews website, guests will also receive early park admission to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter one hour before the parks open and will also be able to take a shuttle to and from the Universal theme parks.

Reservations will be accepted in spring 2015. For more information, visit LoewsHotels.com.
