The remains haven't been identified as the missing pilot, Theodore Weiss, as of Monday morning, deputies said.

Weiss was last seen departing from the Dunnellon Airport on April 5 and was headed for Zephryhills, but never made it to the destination.

The Federal Aviation Administration will begin their investigation on Monday.
