Fire evacuates Orlando apartments Several residents forced to stay at hotels
ORLANDO, Fla. – An Orlando apartment building was evacuated Thursday night because of a fire.
No one was injured in the fire, which broke out at the Dovetail Villas Apartments on Mausser Drive.
Orlando fire officials said the blaze started in a wall and may have been caused by wiring in an AC unit.
Officials said the fire was contained to the wall, but there was smoke damage to the home. Power was turned off during the fire, forcing several people to spend the night in local hotels.
