'Harry Potter' actor Robbie Coltrane rushed to Orlando hospital, report says

Actor suffered flu symptoms on flight to Florida, Telegraph reports

ORLANDO, Fla. – A British newspaper reports Robbie Coltrane, who plays Hagrid in the "Harry Potter" movies, was taken to an Orlando hospital Thursday night after complaining of flu-like symptoms on a flight to Florida.

The star was on his way here for the second annual Harry Potter celebration, which is happening this weekend at Universal's Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

The Telegraph reports Coltrane was hospitalized overnight.

"Robbie took ill last night and is getting the rest he needs to feel better," Universal said in an email to Local 6.  "We are sorry he can't be with us this weekend, but we look forward to seeing him up and better soon."

During the three-day festivities, fans will be able to attend a Q&A session with other stars of the movie.
