Parking reservation website Book2Park.com latest hacking victim

Group earlier hacked Target, Home Depot

ORLANDO, Fla. – A popular parking reservation website, Book2Park.com, is the latest victim in a credit card hacking scam.

The company handles airport parking across the country, from Portland to Miami.

According to an online security tracking company, Krebson Security, the same hacker gang that stole more than 100 million credit and debit cards from Target and Home Depot went after Book2Park sometime earlier this month.

The tracking company found batches of credit card numbers from the site up for sale on underground websites.  The stolen numbers were going for $12 to $18 a pop.

All of the cards belonged to customers who made airport parking reservations at Book2Park.com.  None of the hacks, however, occurred on Orlando International Airport property, officials said.

The company's owner said they are taking action on this to make sure their customers are protected.

This is the third airport parking company to be targeted by hackers in just the past few months, but it's not known why they're being targeted.
