SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – A Seminole County judge may be reprimanded after she provided misleading information during an interview about her driving record, officials said.
Judge Jessica Recksiedler has been ticketed at least six times, including twice for careless driving and once for going 87 mph in a 55 mph zone, according to records.

As she was driving to testify before a panel in hopes of getting a promotion, investigators say she received another ticket.
When asked about whether she had received any more violations, she said, "No, essentially I also want to say that I have never run from any obligation or any circumstances or used my position for my benefit."
A state agency that oversees judges found that her testimony was "incomplete through omission" and "factually inaccurate" and that she should receive a public reprimand.
The Florida Supreme Court will decide if the reprimand is an appropriate punishment.
Recksiedler was the original judge in the George Zimmerman murder trial, but she had to recuse herself due to a conflict of interest.
