Cops: Calvary Christian Academy student made fake Instagram account, posted threats

ORMOND BEACH, Fla. – Ormond Beach police arrested a 13-year-old Calvary Christian Academy student after she allegedly posted threats on a fictitious Instagram account.

The girl, who Local 6 isn't identifying because of her age, will be charged with making written threats to kill or do bodily injury, disruption of educational institute, making a false report to law enforcement and cyberstalking.

Police said the girl posted on the fictitious Instagram account, "CCA Ugliest," "I wanna kill everyone at CCA. I promise I do."

Several students also received anonymous text-message threats, according to police.

Police were able to track the messages being sent to a residence in Holly Hill and arrested the teen.

When they interviewed the teen, she said she made the account and posted the threat partially in response to not being included in another Instagram page that promoted a positive image of CCA, according to the police report.

Ormond Beach Police said they're still investigating because more people may be involved. Officers will still be patrolling school grounds Friday.
