Tank is in training and in seven to eight months, he will be ready for the K-9 Unit, where he will help find wanted subjects, provide building searches, detect drugs and explosives and find missing persons, deputies said.
The Jimmy Ryce Center is a nonprofit foundation started in 1995 by Don and Claudine Ryce after their son was murdered at the hands of a sexual predator. The foundation's mission is to provide AKC bloodhounds free to law enforcement.
