ORLANDO, Fla. – Orange County deputies are searching for a suspect after a woman was stabbed to death near an Orlando church.
Lisa Harrell, 50, died in the stabbing, which happened late Wednesday in the parking lot of the Corner King Food Market on 44th Street near the Precious Hearts Daycare and across the street from Church of God by Faith of Orlando, Inc.
According to deputies, Harrell was found collapsed and bleeding after someone called 911 to report the stabbing.
Harrell was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center, where she died a short time later.
Deputies on Thursday said Harrell had been in a "heated verbal altercation with another female close to the time of the stabbing."
Deputies conducted and extensive search of the area and spoke to several witnesses, but were not able to locate a suspect.
