Sarkevious Small, 18, Jeremiah Holmes, 18, and a 16-year-old male were arrested in the Saturday night shooting on Wilson Avenue at a party.

Police said Demetrius Hill was at the party with his brother, Joseph Sykes, when an argument started between Sykes and Holmes, Small and the 16-year-old. During the argument, the trio then pulled out guns and fired them, hitting Hill.

The trio then left the party and was tracked down and arrested by Orange County Sheriff's Office.

Police said it was later determined that Small fired the shot that hit Hill in the left leg, right foot and right shoulder blade. Small had also threatened to kill one of the men.

Small was charged with attempted second-degree murder, discharging a firearm in public and aggravated assault. Small, along with Holmes and the juvenile, who was not identified by police, were charged with loitering and prowling and resisting arrest without violence.
