No description foundALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. – Firefighters arrived at an assisted living facility in Altamonte Springs due to thick smoke from a microwave.
The incident happened at Horizon Bay assisted living facility at 217 Boston Ave.
The Seminole County Fire Department said the second floor of the facility was evacuated.
Officials said there was no active fire, but smoke from a microwave was so thick, firefighters thought there was an active fire.
No one was taken to a hospital due to the incident, but a person at the unit was put into another room at the facility.
Orange County Fire Rescue crews assisted the Seminole County Fire Department.
